When we use the term ‘Carpet Specialists’, we don’t do so lightly. In fact, we used to manufacture our own 100% wool face-to-face Wilton on the looms that were sited at our Station Mills property (see our page on P&D History).

The buildings still serve as our workroom and warehouse.

We are a well established local family business, now into our third generation. Many of our customers are also third generation, and we feel justifiably proud in our ability to consistently secure repeat business.

Our customers recognise that we can offer excellent product knowledge and a complete understanding of the manufacturing methods used in carpet production.

We have staff who are trained in interior design and colour consultancy, all of whom thoroughly enjoy the challenge of matching colours and fabrics. We work hard to ensure that we create the look and feel that you want.

What’s more, we have a free, no obligation measuring service, with our main estimator and curtain fitter being one of the family. He is a fully qualified carpet fitter so he can discuss your fitting requirements on-site with expertise.

When it comes to fitting, we have an excellent team of time-served fitters, most of whom have been with the business for many years. Indeed, three were apprenticed to us in their youth.

We have teams that specialise in border work, smooth and laminate floors, contract fitting, etc..

We aim to please and endeavour to give a service second to none, so please feel free to call in and browse. We recognise that you might want to check your selection in your own home, under your own lighting, alongside your own furnishings. So we will do all we can to make samples available for you to take home.

We have an enormous selection of samples for your selection, all at competitive prices ranging from £3.95 sq metre. We have something to suit all tastes and all pockets.
